General Requirements For HND Admission In Jigawa State Polytechnic, Dutse

Accountancy (Morning and Afternoon)

Entry requirements:

i Five (5) “O” Level credit passes which should include English language and Mathematics and any three (3) of Economics, Business Method, Principles Of Account, Commerce, History, Statistics, Geography, One Science subject or any of Religious Knowledge/Nigerian language:

ii  A minimum of lower credit pass with (CG-PA 2.50 and above) in the ND Accounting/Financial studies:

iii A minimum of one year post-ND cognate work experience.

NOTE: in exceptional cases, ND graduates with the pass (CG-PA of 2.00-2.49) and has worked for two years or more in the field may be considered for admission into the HND program.

Social Administration (Afternoon Only)

Entry requirements:

1. Four (4) “O” Level credit passes which should include English language and any three (3) credit passes in Government/Economics/History, Book Keeping, Business Studies, Accounting, Literature in English, or any Science Subject, Commerce, and Religious Knowledge/Nigerian language.

2. A minimum of Lower Credit pass in Jigpoly Diploma in Social/ local government/public Administration and from any recognized Polytechnic: and

3. A minimum of one (1) year after graduation.

Local Government Studies (Afternoon Only)

Entry requirements:

1. Five (5) “O” Level credit passes which should include English Language, Mathematics and any three (3) Credit passes in

2. Economics, Business Method, Principles of Account, Commerce, History, Statistics, Geography, one Science subject or any

3. of Religious Knowledge/Nigerian language:

4. A minimum of a lower credit pass in Diploma in Local Government and Social Administration from any recognized

5. Polytechnic: and

6. A minimum of one year after graduation.
