Updated on 6 November 2026 · How we verify
Quick answer: O’Level results (WAEC, NECO, NABTEB) are uploaded to your JAMB profile at an accredited CBT centre or JAMB office, not from home: take your result printout/scratch card details, pay the small centre charge (₦1,500 for one sitting, ₦2,000 for two), and confirm on CAPS that the grades appear. No upload, no admission — institutions cannot process you on CAPS without it.

How to upload O’Level results to JAMB
- Collect your result: WAEC/NECO/NABTEB online printout with the scratch-card/PIN details, or the certificate.
- Visit any accredited CBT centre (or JAMB state office) with your JAMB registration number and the result.
- The operator uploads the grades for one or two sittings and you confirm them on screen. Keep the receipt.
- Log in to efacility.jamb.gov.ng → Check Admission Status → Access my CAPS → O’Level Results to confirm.
- Awaiting results? Upload immediately after release (WAEC 2026 results came out 5 August 2026); schools set their own cut-off dates (e.g. UNILAG 24 August 2026).
Why it matters
- CAPS ranks you using the uploaded grades; missing grades can mean ‘Not Admitted’ even with a high UTME score.
- Schools that screen on O’Level points pull grades from CAPS.
- Mismatched names between O’Level and JAMB profile cause rejection — fix with a sworn affidavit and newspaper publication through the school.
