Updated on 6 November 2026 · How we verify
Quick answer: Print your JAMB admission letter on efacility.jamb.gov.ng after accepting your offer on CAPS: log in → Print Admission Letter → pay ₦1,000 (plus ₦200 service charge) → print. From October 2026 JAMB accepts only CAPS-generated admission letters for NYSC mobilisation; letters issued by a school outside CAPS are treated as illegal.

Steps to print the JAMB admission letter
- Accept your admission on CAPS first (the print option is hidden until you do).
- Log in at efacility.jamb.gov.ng and click Print Admission Letter.
- Select the year, pay ₦1,000 (plus ₦200 service charge) by card, USSD or Remita.
- Enter your registration number, click Print, save the PDF and print two colour copies.
- Check institution, course and session; errors are corrected through the admitting institution, not JAMB.
JAMB letter vs school letter
| Document | Purpose |
|---|---|
| JAMB admission letter | Printed on e-Facility; the national record of your admission; required for clearance, NYSC mobilisation and most scholarships. |
| School (provisional) admission letter | Downloaded from the school portal after acceptance fee; carries the school’s reporting instructions. |
Troubleshooting
- No record found: you have not accepted on CAPS or the school has not uploaded the admission.
- Previous years: you can still print; if your admission was done outside CAPS, you need JAMB regularization first.
- Payment failed but debited: re-query with the RRR; do not pay twice.
- Wrong course on letter: the school processed you for a different course; accept/reject on CAPS and contact admissions.
