Job Description
- As the Inventory Officer, you will be required to monitor and report on the inventory levels of the supermarket. You will also be responsible for reviewing levels of supplies and ordering products.
Responsibilities
- Make sure the shelves are properly stocked
- Inspect and arrange shelves at intervals during the day and report spoilt or damage products
- Conduct physical inventory counts daily
- Update of the inventory registers and ensure timely communication of low inventory to the manager
- Review stock performance reports to predict sales trends and seasonal stock demand
- Implement measures to avoid stock damages, theft, expiry and other forms of wastage
- Carry out daily/weekly/monthly inventory count and prepare reports in a timely manner to the accountant
- Report to the manager on stock levels, and other related inventory matters, etc.
- Receive new inventory from vendor
- Ensure that the store is neatly arrange
- Manage work relationships with vendors, and suppliers
- Prepare requisition list and keep records of purchased products
Requirements
