What ‘school fees’ includes
Tuition is nominally free in federal institutions; the charges are levies: registration, examination, ICT, library, medical, sports, ID card, development, accreditation, caution deposit (refundable) and departmental dues. New students also pay acceptance fee, matriculation, medical screening and, optionally, hostel.
How to pay safely
- Generate your invoice/RRR on the school portal; pay via Remita, bank, card or USSD.
- Never pay into a personal account; the portal shows the only valid payment channel.
- Print and keep receipts; course registration depends on confirmed payment.
- Instalments are common (two tranches); late payment attracts penalties.
